Message from the owner of Cow Creek Mill

Hi, I'm Tommy DuBose, the owner of Cow Creek Mill. I purchased the Mill in 2000 from the Cow Creek Mill Pond HOA, who had recently purchased the property from Brenda Kirchbaum, the previous owner. Her father, Myron Hall was the last owner to operate the grist mill. 

When I was first offered the opportunity to purchase the Mill, I refused because of its state of disrepair. When I was informed that the plan was to raze the mill, I made the deal to purchase. It was and is my primary goal to preserve the Mill for future generations.

Over the years, I have spent much time, energy, labor and money to preserve the Mill. I am a Class A General Contractor and worked on the Mill as time from my business and personal circumstances allowed. At this time, I feel that the preservation of the mill requires full attention and resources. I firmly believe that renovating the Mill will be a great benefit to our historic town of Gloucester.
